The privacy filter arrived pretty quickly and seems to be an original 3M product.
I feel kinda stupid, but I didn't have access to the laptop and it seems the ration isn't the same than the privacy filter (still a widescreen monitor) and doesn't fit properly (the filter seems to be higher and not slightly large enough). I guess that's what happens when you get a slightly non standard laptop.
Oh well, looks like I'll have to find someone who wants a discounted privacy filter.
PS: In case anybody would like to verify the size before purchasing, the width is 11" 3/8 and the height is 7" 1/8.
